Position Overview: The Service Advisor/Writer has the opportunity to interact with our customers to build customer loyalty by developing a relationship with the customer and ensuring confidence in N3 Boatworks as the premier inboard dealer in Indiana. This role requires someone who is passionate about taking care of the customer. This role demands organization as he/she will juggle many customers, priorities, communication and follow-up throughout the day.
What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
Greeting customers promptly
Setting and confirming appointments with customers to expedite their service experience
Obtaining customer and boat/trailer information
Clearly reporting all symptoms as described by the customer
Determining and recommending needed maintenance base on age, hours and history of boat/trailer
Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
Establish follow up time
Monitor the progress of the repair throughout the day, and updating customers frequently
Verifying that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
Explaining all completed work and charges to customers
Providing an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty
Maintain the appearance of the service desk and surrounding areas
What are the requirements for this job?
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 1 year experience in a Service Advisory role
Positive attitude
Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
Organization and follow-up skills
Basic experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft products
Must be able to work 8am-5pm Monday-Friday and the occasional Saturday 9am-2pm
Pay: Hourly pay plus bonuses

Job Description: Marine Technician N3 Boatworks, a full service marine dealership offering Nautiques,Centurions, Supremes and other used inboard boats, is in search of a qualified marine technician. The Marine Technician is responsible for the repair and overhaul of inboard boats and trailers. Position Relationships: Reports To: Service Writer Key Internal Relationships: Service Writer, Service Team, Parts Manager Direct Reports: N/A Responsibilities of Marine Technician Includes • Examine boat and discuss the nature and extent of damage or malfunction with the service manager or customer • Perform diagnostics and repair of all types of inboard marine engines and transmissions/drives • Perform mechanical repair work such as: ◦ remove engine or transom ◦ disassemble unit and inspect parts for wear ◦ overhaul or replace carburetors, blowers, distributors, starters, pumps, electrical and fuel systems ◦ rebuild parts such as engine cylinder blocks ◦ rewire ignition system, lights and instrument panel ◦ replace and adjust taillights ◦ install and repair accessories such as radios, heaters, mirrors, and ballast systems • Operate a hydraulic jack or hoist as needed • Advise customers and/or insurance adjusters as to necessary repairs • Complete repair work utilizing service scheduler within the established timeframe • Ensure all warranty work is completed according to manufacturer’s guidelines • Safely operate customer vessels during diagnostic water testing operations • Maintain tools in good condition and according to guidelines • Other duties as assigned Key Result Areas for Marine/Service Technician : • Internal/external customer satisfaction • Timely and accurate completion of work • Maintain minimum number of comebacks Benefits/Pay • Fully paid health insurance • Opportunity to participate in retirement savings with company match • Paid vacations and holidays • Pay is dependent upon experience
N3 Boatworks is currently looking for a boat lot porter who can also handle the coordination of our facilities. The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for moving boats around our lot utilizing a fork truck. This position will also be responsible for mapping the lot in digital form and managing the location of each boat and trailer. In addition, this position will also be coordinating facility maintenance such as lot clean-up, fork truck and truck maintenance coordination, etc.
At N3 Boatworks, you will be part of a team of people who love boats and being on the water. We work hard, but our business is fun, and we believe in rewarding hard work. Our service department cannot run smoothly without you.
A typical day on the job will include vehicle, equipment, machinery, facility and grounds maintenance, as well as loading, unloading, parking and staging boats.
